BQ: first steps

My question is who is be hind the illuminoty.  I think that the most general places that I can find the answer to my question are books and of couse the internet.  The internet has everything and multiple sites that I can look up.  This is a hard and challenging question that most people to this day still dont know but for the most part we hace a lot of theories.  we have access to so much online that its endless. We can look for days and there will always be a new site or article on the illuminoty. 
Another resourse that I can go to to find the answer to my question is books.  We have libraries everywhere that have written paperback resourses.  Its more work to find them but they have just as much information and can sometimes be better.  Thw only downfall is axtually getting them.  Either way the internet and books are 2 places that I can find the answer or theory to my big question
